This course is for individuals wanting to become an teacher or educator in the work environment.  The course can be completed flexibly, with most aspects being home study.  You will be expected to build a portfolio to evidence your delivery skills.  You will need to attend the training centre on just one occasion to demonstrate your teaching skills in a working environment, covering a variety of techniques.  This course is available to anyone, as no experience is required, however you must hold a qualification in your subject area. 

The course includes the following units;

• Understanding roles, responsibilities and the relationships in education & training (assignment based)
• Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training (micro-teach)
• Understanding assessment in education & training (assignment based)

On successful completion you will receive a qualification in VTCT Level 3 Award in Education & Training, which will allow you to progress into employment as a teacher.

This course is run throughout the year, upon booking an initial meeting will be arranged to deliver your course criteria.
