As you have no doubt seen, we are now offering a brand new range of courses accredited by VTCT!  

So… It has kinda got people scratching their heads a little, thinking?  What is the difference?  What does it mean? Why?  Is my current qualification affected?

Here is a little info to hopefully answer a few questions.

All of our short/ABT courses are still running as usual..  These are great for;

• Speed
• Cost
• Upskilling

Our Short courses are perfect if you are on a budget & have little time to learn.  They are quick & pretty easy skill wise to successfully complete.  There is not a lot of theory to learn on these courses, so a short course will probably be more suitable if you are not very academic.  Our short courses are very practically based so are perfect if you are hands on, creative & a quick learner!

The difference between the short courses & VTCT courses are that there is much more theory & knowledge to be learned with our VTCT courses.  VTCT is an international qualification & is approved by OFQUAL (regulates qualifications & exams) so this means that the assessment criteria are a little stricter.  Fear not, there are lots of advantages to having a VTCT qualification under your belt & they are great if you love to learn (like me!)

Our VTCT courses are great for;

• In-depth learning
• If you’re new to the industry
• Flexibility

Personal recommendation- if you are happy running a small business by yourself- go with the short course options to get you started… But if you are wanting to expand & build your career to it’s full potential, own a salon or premises or even go into teaching Beauty Therapy then choose VTCT.  If you are still unsure after reading this, head over to our website & choose our which course is for you finder.. or click HERE!

Only one more question left unanswered WHY.. For me to offer VTCT courses- which you generally have to attend college to complete is a HUGE milestone in my career & a dream come true.. I love to keep my skills updated & feel that offering this new range of courses (regardless of being closed) will keep us unique & current.  What is even better VTCT is perfect for remote learning, so anyone can start studying straight away even whilst salons & education remains closed.
