This course is for individuals wanting to become an assessor in the work environment.  The course can be completed flexibly, with most aspects being home study.  You will be expected to build a portfolio to evidence your competence in assessment & quality assurance.  You will need to attend the training centre on just one occasion to demonstrate your practical abilities in assessment in a working environment, using a range of methods including RPL, discussion, oral questioning & observations.

The course includes the following units;

• Understanding the principles and practices of assessment
• Assess occupational competence in the work environment
• Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding

On successful completion you will receive a qualification in VTCT Level 3 in Assessing Vocational Achievement, which will allow you to progress in employment as an assessor.

This course is run throughout the year, upon booking an initial meeting will be arranged to deliver your course criteria.
